Bahrain Labour Ministry Extends Aid to Displaced Workers

In the wake of a sudden closure of a Bahrain-based delivery company, displaced employees find solace as the Ministry of Labour intervenes to provide support and assistance.

Following the unexpected shutdown, employees faced uncertainty about their future and concerns lingered regarding job security and financial stability for affected workers.

In response to the crisis, Bahrain’s Ministry of Labour swiftly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the company's closure. Moreover, the ministry embarked on a proactive mission to aid displaced employees in their quest for new employment opportunities.

Acknowledging the plight of affected workers, the ministry goes above and beyond legal obligations, ensuring that laid-off staff receive compensation packages and unemployment benefits for up to nine months. Additionally, the ministry actively facilitates job placements by liaising with potential employers seeking to harness the skills of these experienced professionals.
