Folklore Festival to Begin on February 14th

The Arad Heritage Village has organized the Folklore Festival which will begin on February 14th and run till February 18th. The event timings will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The festival will feature heritage events, handicrafts, traditional food, pottery colouring, and competitions. Visitors can get a chance to indulge themselves with Bahraini sweets, harees, kebabs, pastry bread, and luqaimat. Furthermore, there will be workshops on handicrafts where visitors can learn to create traditional items. The stores at the heritage village also sell an array of handicrafts, where visitors can see craftsmen at work and buy their traditional products.  

The entrance fee is BD1 per person, however, children under 2 are exempted from this fee.
