Bahrain’s national airline is taking precautionary steps as regional security concerns rise.

Gulf Air has temporarily relocated a significant portion of its fleet from Bahrain International Airport to airports in Saudi Arabia, citing safety concerns amid ongoing tensions tied to the Israel–US–Iran conflict.

Around 10 Aircraft Relocated

Reports say around 10 aircraft were moved out of Bahrain during a brief reopening of regional airspace on March 10.

The flights were carried out without passengers, purely as a precaution while missile threats remain a concern in the region.

With several planes now stationed outside the country, regular commercial flights from Bahrain are largely suspended for the time being.

Limited Flights Possible if Conditions Improve

Officials say the airline may operate limited repatriation flights from alternative airports if the situation allows.
