Lionel Messi's Room in Qatar to be Converted into Mini Museum

Qatar University turned Lionel Messi's room into a mini museum to honor his victory at the 2022 World Cup.

The Qatar University revealed that Messi's room will be turned into a little museum by posting a number of images of the Argentina-themed facilities they had constructed on campus during the World Cup.

The bed that Lionel Messi stayed in while the 2022 FIFA World Cup was being held in Qatar is going on display for the general public.

Argentina's players camped out in Qatar University's halls, unlike many other national teams that chose to stay in opulent hotels throughout the World Cup.

Room B201 served as home for Lionel Messi. Although it was a twin room, Messi had it to himself for the whole of the competition.

On the night before the championship game, though, Messi and Sergio Aguero shared a room since the former striker had come to the Argentina camp as a special guest.

The majority of the spaces occupied by Argentina's players will be converted back into student dorms for the duration of the match.

In Qatar University's statement, they stated, "The University of Qatar announces the allocation of the room constructed by the member of the Argentine national team at the Qatar World Cup into a mini museum."

As Argentina finally won the World Cup after a long wait of 36 years, the Paris Saint-Germain star scored seven goals and became the first player to ever win two Golden Balls in World Cup history. Additionally, he surpassed Gabriel Batistuta, who had held the record with 10 goals, and tied Pele's record of 13 goals in World Cup play to become the greatest Argentine scorer in tournament history.

Messi's vacation up until January 1 was accepted by the team, according to PSG manager Christophe Galtier, and he is anticipated to return around the second or third week of the month. He will therefore be absent from the team's Ligue 1 matches against Strasbourg (December 28) and Lens (January 1), but is expected to play against Chateauroux in the French Cup on January 6.
