Bahrain Named the 10th Safest Country in the World in 2023

Bahrain has been named the 10th safest country in the world in 2023 with a safety index of 76.0, according to Numbeo, the world's largest database of user-contributed data about cities and countries worldwide. 

Bahrain was not the only Arab country on the list, as it was preceded by Qatar in 1st place, UAE in 2nd place, Oman in fifth, and was followed by Saudi Arabia in 12th, to round up a strong presence for the Gulf nations.

The Safety Index is calculated based on surveys that are taken of the residents from these countries. Bahrain's ranking shows that the fear of robbery and vandalism is the lowest in the country and that Bahrain is considered to be a very safe place when it comes to walking in the streets at night.
