Marvel fans, it’s happening! The cast of Avengers: Doomsday has officially assembled in Bahrain, where filming for the much-anticipated movie is underway. The sightings have sparked major buzz online, as fans share photos and speculate about what the fifth Avengers film could have in store.

Over the weekend, the glamorous Address Beach Resort Bahrain played host to a star-studded dinner, giving fans a rare glimpse of several key cast members. Among the guests were director Joe Russo, along with Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Winston Duke (M'Baku), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Danny Ramirez (Falcon), and Alex Livinalli (Attuma). The resort called it “a marvellous honour” to host the Hollywood icons.

Photos from the event and earlier sightings at the Japanese restaurant Sumosan, also located in the resort, have been making the rounds on social media, exciting Marvel followers across the globe.

While not seen at the Bahrain event, even more familiar faces are expected to join the ensemble cast. Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova) are all set to appear in the film. And in a jaw-dropping twist, Robert Downey Jr. will reportedly return to the MCU, but this time as the villainous Doctor Doom.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film marks the brothers' return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after their massive success with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, and it will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.

Plot details are still under wraps, but if the buzz in Bahrain is any indication, something epic is definitely on the way.
