Bahrain Intercepts 129 Missiles and Drones in Major Attack Wave

Bahrain’s air defence systems intercepted a massive wave of incoming threats, shooting down 70 ballistic missiles and 59 drones aimed at the Kingdom.

The announcement was made by the National Communication Centre, which said the Bahrain Defence Force acted quickly and efficiently to neutralise the attacks before they could cause wider damage.

Civilian Sites Targeted

Authorities described the targeting of civilian areas and private property as a serious violation of national sovereignty and international law. Bahrain reaffirmed that it reserves the full legal right to respond and take necessary measures to protect the country’s stability and the safety of citizens and residents.

Debris Handled, Monitoring Ongoing

Officials said limited debris from the interceptions fell in some areas but was immediately dealt with by relevant authorities according to safety procedures.

Surveillance and monitoring systems remain fully active, operating at the highest levels of readiness.

Public Urged to Stay Alert

Authorities also called on the public to follow official guidance, rely only on verified sources for updates, and avoid spreading rumours during the current situation.
