Bahrain reopens 75-year-old water garden after renovation

After being closed for 6 years, the iconic Water Garden in Bahrain has been officially reopened. Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) Consultative Council President, inaugurated the renovated garden.

The Ministry of Work has been working on revamping it while it was closed and now the garden opened its doors to welcome visitors again.

The newly opened garden has new features, such as two lakes, spaces for family activities, play areas for kids, botanical area, as well as lots of green spaces.
