Bahrain Sees Huge Increase in Indian Tourist Arrivals For 2023

Bahrain in the first half of 2023, which is an 87% increase from the same period in the previous year, when over 270,000 Indian tourists visited the country. This data was revealed during a reception organized by the Bahrain-India Society.

The event was attended by leading businesspeople from both India and Bahrain. In his opening remarks, Ambassador Jacob stressed the importance of strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two countries.

"As of mid-September 2023, the embassy has issued a total of 3,904 visas, of which 64% were tourist visas. On the other hand, I would like to welcome more Bahraini friends to visit India for leisure, business, education, and cultural purposes," he said.
