Bahrain to Give Allowances to Retirees and People With Disabilities

Bahrain's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman ordered the competent government authorities to retroactively disburse the monthly allowances of retirees from January to June 2023. 

The decision was made at the weekly Cabinet meeting at the Gudaibiya Palace. 

Prince Salman also directed the competent authorities to give disbursements on the living allowances of people with disabilities and government employees from June 2023.

The order has been issued in accordance with the Legislative and Executive Authorities. 

These directives were given after agreements were made between the Legislative and Executive Authorities during the discussion on the draft law of the national budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
