Lady Gaga Expected to Headline Jeff Bezos' Wedding Finale

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sanchez tied the knot in style on Friday on the island of San Giorgio in Venice. But the party’s far from over — the couple is wrapping up their $50 million, three-day wedding celebration with a lavish finale on Saturday night.

💍 Fashion, Fame & That Sophia Loren Dress Vibe

Sanchez stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown and lace veil inspired by Sophia Loren’s iconic look from the 1958 film Houseboat. “It was based on Sophia Loren’s wedding dress in Houseboat,” Sanchez told Vogue, who confirmed the dress — and her borrowed diamond earrings — came from D&G.

Bezos opted for a sleek black tux and bow tie. The ceremony itself reportedly had no legal status in Italy, hinting that the duo may have already married in the U.S. to sidestep red tape.

The guest list was an A-lister fever dream: Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Queen Rania of Jordan, Bill Gates, Tom Brady, Kris Jenner, Orlando Bloom, and even Domenico Dolce made appearances.

🎤 The Final Show: Gaga, Elton & a Medieval Shipyard

The grand finale? A Saturday night party in an old shipyard, where none other than Lady Gaga and Elton John are expected to perform live. Because when you're Jeff Bezos, DJ playlists are for peasants.

🪧 Meanwhile… Venice Locals Aren’t All Celebrating

Not everyone in Venice is raising a toast. The ultra-luxe affair sparked backlash from the “No Space for Bezos” movement, which planned a protest march from the city’s main train station to the Rialto Bridge on Saturday at 5 PM.

Activists hung anti-Bezos banners, draped canvases across St. Mark’s Square, and called out what they see as the city being sold out to the super-rich. Their message? Pay more taxes, Jeff.

Still, the city’s leadership is rolling out the red carpet.

“Bezos embodies the Venetian mentality, he is more Venetian than the protesters,” said Venice’s mayor Luigi Brugnaro, who praised Bezos’s €3 million donation to local institutions and said he hoped the billionaire returns “to do business.”

💸 The Bottom Line

Whether you see it as romantic or ridiculously over-the-top, Bezos and Sanchez’s Venice wedding is now one for the luxury history books — complete with couture, controversy, and confetti.
