204 bodies have been recovered from the crash site to date. The ill-fated flight carried 242 passengers before colliding with a medical school’s hostel.

In response, the Tata Group, owners of Air India, pledges to provide a compensation sum of ₹1 crore to the families of all deceased passengers. ## Investigation Underway The exact cause of the crash remains uncertain for now. A comprehensive investigation is expected to span several days and involve multiple organizations, including British, Indian, international aviation experts, as well as Boeing and Air India.
