During the session, delegates reviewed immediate Arab measures to ease the humanitarian crisis, including securing the flow of aid and ramping up diplomatic efforts internationally. The focus was on pushing for a ceasefire, lifting the blockade, and ensuring compliance with international humanitarian law.

The Council also highlighted the importance of the upcoming international conference hosted by the United Nations on July 27–28. Co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, the conference aims to advance a two-state solution, seen as the only viable path to lasting peace. This includes supporting the Palestinians’ right to establish an independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The meeting underscored the Arab League’s commitment to standing by the Palestinian people and pursuing all avenues to achieve peace, justice, and stability in the region.
