Bahrain is taking a big step toward modernizing public services. The Northern Municipal Council has approved a proposal to install electronic machines in public areas, allowing residents to renew their driver’s licenses without visiting government offices.

Third District representative Mohammed Saad Al-Dosari said the kiosks will make the process faster and more convenient, reducing long queues and unnecessary trips.

Supporting Smart Services and Efficiency

The initiative also supports Bahrain’s broader push for digital government services. Al-Dosari emphasized that the move will improve service quality and strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure.
