Bahrain's MoH Recommends COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Shots for Children

Bahrain's Ministry of Health (MoH) has requested parents and guardians to have their children, who are between ages five to eleven, administered the latest bivalent booster shot against COVID-19.

Where Can You Get the COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Shot?

Parents and guardians can take their children to the following locations to get the shots:

  • Halat Bu Maher Health Center
  • Hamad Kanoo Health Center
  • Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Health Center

Parents and guardians do not need to book appointments for their children to get the vaccine.

The health centers will provide the vaccinations from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Head of the Disease Control Department at the Ministry of Health Dr. Basma Al Saffar explained that the vaccine will help boost the immunity of children against the new CIVD-19 variant.

The vaccine will also help reduce symptoms of the virus, so children must get the latest bivalent booster shot against the new variant of COVID-19.
